SCHERER CONSTRUCTION OF NORTH FLORIDA LLC

What this means for you

Plain-language notes from evidence already on this report. Educational only — not advice to hire or avoid anyone.

• License status

CGC057622 is C in our Florida DBPR extract. Re-check Florida DBPR the day you hire.

• Class / type on file

Certified General Contractor. Scope still depends on the specific project and local permitting. Specialty trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, etc.) often require a separately licensed specialty contractor or a properly qualified subcontractor.

• Discipline in extract

No discipline row linked in our current extract — not a certificate of clean history after our last load.

• Business name on contract

Sunbiz Active · SCHERER CONSTRUCTION OF NORTH FLORIDA, LLC. The name on your written contract should match this filing.

• Insurance you should still ask for

We do not store workers’ comp or general liability status. Ask for current certificates and use official Florida Division of Workers’ Comp Proof of Coverage tools before relying on a verbal claim.
